HOUSTON – August 7, 2023 – �۽�ֱ�� has been awarded a contract to widen Business U.S. Highway (BU) 90U from Interstate Highway 610 (I-610) to the east of Mesa Road on behalf of Texas Department of Transportation’s Houston District. Once complete, the approximately $62.5 million improvement project will ease traffic congestion and enhance safety and storm drainage in the northeast Houston area.

The �۽�ֱ�� team will deliver improvements to the existing four-lane, undivided rural roadway including widening the travel lanes from 11 feet to 12 feet in each direction and adding an additional 14-foot travel lane in each direction. The team will also construct a 16-foot continuous center turn lane and continuous sidewalks in each direction throughout the project limits.

�۽�ֱ�� has partnered with TxDOT’s Houston District to deliver complex highway and bridge projects in Texas including the , IH 45 at IH 10, IH 10 at Studemont and IH 10 at Washington.
