SAVANNAH, GA –  ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥â€™s operations continue to grow its presence through specialized and expert services in the delivery of premier projects in the flourishing city of Savannah, Georgia. As part of the ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥â€™s Buildings team in Georgia, the Savannah office’s ongoing growth supports the company’s business development strategy of expanding its national footprint into southeastern, coastal areas and building on its vertical operations in Charleston, South Carolina, and Jacksonville, Florida.

Established in 2001, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥â€™s Georgia team has steadily grown its presence in Savannah, building long-lasting, trusted relationships and delivering service excellence to clients. The company’s operations in Georgia is part of the company’s national operations in the Southeast which is consistently ranked by Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) Top Contractors in the Southeast and named No. 2 and No. 3 in the Hospitality and Education market sectors respectively.

ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥â€™s office is led by George Uschold, who has been in the construction industry in the area for more than two decades. Under his leadership, the company has had the opportunity to grow and expand its Buildings portfolio in the hospitality, multifamily, education, and office market sectors while remaining committed to making a positive difference in the community where it operates.

Recently, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ completed the construction of  on the Armstrong campus of Georgia Southern University. The facility features 18 replicated storefronts and scenery reflecting Savannah’s rich townscape. It will serve 15,000 local middle school students annually and support Junior Achievement’s mission to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy in the area.

The ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ project team has also delivered the  on behalf of Regent Partners, LLC, and Mariner Group, Ltd., a 193-key luxury hotel located adjacent to Historic Downtown Savannah along the banks of the Savannah River. Named as an Associated General Contractors (AGC) 2022 Build Georgia award winner, the project is part of phase one of the larger 54-acre Eastern Wharf mixed-use development, featuring more than 8,000 square feet of versatile meeting space, a state-of-the-art fitness center and more than 8,000 square feet of outdoor space, including an expansive terrace pool.

On the heels of the successful delivery of the Thompson Savannah Hotel, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ has been awarded two additional hospitality projects in the area. The company recently broke ground on North Point Hospitality’s latest hotel project in Savannah which includes a 171-key AC Hotel by Marriott, a parking deck, and right-of-way improvements. ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ was also awarded Regent Partner’s and Mariner Group’s next phase of the Eastern Wharf project, which will be a seven-story, retro-inspired hotel adjacent to the Thompson Savannah.

Leveraging the Southeast’s strong special projects expertise, the Savannah team has also secured an interior build-out of retail space for The Bridge at Calhoun in Bluffton, SC.
