�۽�ֱ�� U.S. Buildings Celebrates 20 Years of Building Austin

AUSTIN, TX – This year, �۽�ֱ��’s U.S. Buildings team announces its 20th anniversary of providing construction management services to Austin and Central Texas clients. This celebration marks two decades of service to one of the fastest-growing cities in America and the company’s role in delivering construction needs to the Texas economy.

“Austin has been a great market for �۽�ֱ�� for the past 20 years,” said Pleas Mitchell, division president for Texas U.S. Budilings operations. “This region is experiencing tremendous growth, which makes for an exciting time for our company and our partners. It is our commitment to work sustainably with our clients to take advantage of the significant economic growth in Texas and serve the local communities where we live and work.”

�۽�ֱ��’s U.S. building team has been serving construction clients in the Austin and Central Texas region since 2000. A leader in construction management, the company has worked in a variety of market sectors including corporate, commercial, educational, and tenant finish-out.

Recently, the company’s partnership with the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) on the Capitol Complex Project, a $900 million effort to create a destination that celebrates the capitol and centralizes all state agencies, has been recognized by ENR Texas & Louisiana, naming the TFC 2020 Owner of the Year. The project consists of the construction of the Central Utility Plant, the George H.W. Bush State Office Building, the 601 Congress State Office Building, and the North Congress Pedestrian Mall. �۽�ֱ�� serves as the construction manager agent and is overseeing the effort with Page, an architecture and engineering firm, on behalf of the TFC.

Other recent projects include the Austin Independent School District’s new headquarters and the reconstruction of three notable residential towers in the Austin skyline – The Austonian, The Independent, and Northshore. In 2019, �۽�ֱ�� received accolades for the company’s work in Austin being named the Fifth Commerical Construction Company by the Austin Business Journal and one of the Top Texas Contractors by ENR Texas & Louisiana.

Along with construction projects, �۽�ֱ��’s U.S. Buildings team is committed to being a servant in the community. The company sponsors and participates in the annual Austin Duck Derby and its Invitational Golf Tournament benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area. Employees also volunteer time and resources to Caritas of Austin and the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
