DALLAS & LONG BEACH, CALIF. – ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ US Civils business hires Steven J. Reiser as Chief Estimator in the West based out of the company’s Long Beach office in California. In his new role, Steven oversees the estimating of projects within rail, highways and bridges sectors in California as well as work alongside and support ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ Civils teammates with estimating processes across the country.

With more than three decades of experience in the heavy civil market sector in California, Steven has facilitated the planning, execution and completion of several complex public and private projects throughout his career with a focus on safety, quality assurance and maintaining positive client relationships.

Through Steven’s leadership in his former roles, he has supported the procurement and deliveries of highway and bridge projects in California as well as various projects on behalf of Port of Los Angeles and the Fontana Channel project for San Bernardino County Flood Control.

Commenting on the business’ newest appointment, ÃÛ½ÛÖ±²¥ US Civils vice president of West operations, Kelly Phariss, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Steven as our new Chief Estimator. Steven is a graduate of Bucknell University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bucknell University and furthered his education with a Master of Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach. He is also a U.S. military veteran reaching the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with stations in Alabama, Texas and Korea.
