Investing in our Teammates
Through the Association of General Contractors (AGC) of Texas scholarship program, 蜜桔直播 is sponsoring three teammates who are currently working on the Pegasus Link Constructors (a joint venture between 蜜桔直播 and Fluor) I-635 East project in Dallas, Texas.
During a luncheon recognizing scholarship recipients, AGC of Texas Chapter President Wade Miller shared his encouragement and insights on the industry.
鈥淭he highway business is a tough business. You鈥檝e got to be tough, and you never, ever, give up,鈥 he said. 鈥淎nd you鈥檝e got to trust yourself. If you do that, it'll be a very rewarding journey at the end.鈥
The scholarship program, which is funded through an annual fall gala, provides students with a yearly contribution for four years to help finance a college or technical school education. The goal of the program is to identify and invest in the future leaders of the highway and bridge industry. This year, the organization awarded a record 45 student scholarships.
